Real-time automated “card control” roguelite — make the RNG work for you.

High Concept — A 2D real-time automated card game where you don’t just play the cards — you edit them. Modify costs, reroute targets, or morph effects into unexpected OP meta. Orchestrate the flow like the RNGsus: combine systems live, react to hazards, and out-optimize chaos.

About Art

In-game background and signage

Scorched-neon, industrial signage, and hazard red accents define the hostile vibe. Industrial orange highlights interactables and timing cues; teal annotates system notes.

Given the systems focus, we bias toward readability and chunked contrast: flat shapes, bold labels, tight rings for an “ink-print” feel.

About Design

Board overview and lanes
  • RNG Steering: reroute card targets, inject modifiers mid-run, force-merge synergies.
  • Live Editing: change cost / range / damage on the fly; tradeoffs are explicit and time-bound.
  • Hazard Economy: hazards create windows; spend meters to bend probabilities.
  • Readable States: orange = actionable, red = lethal, teal = notes.
  • Music Pacing: verse = introduce mechanic, chorus = combine; intensity rises with layers.
Action forecast UI

The Action Forecast stacks upcoming effects with frame windows and parry opportunities, tying VFX/SFX to timing. Hit-stop reinforces successful parries; input-buffer + coyote-time ensure fairness under pressure.
